DJ Spooky is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album based on using AI and Blockchain technology to finish the mixes and remixes. He’s working with Breaker, a blockchain tech company whose mission is to “evolve the entertainment industry with a decentralized ecosystem that empowers creators…” the album drops later this year.

Paul Miller fue uno de los DJs que se llegó hasta Cuba durante la segunda edición del Festival Internacional de Música Electró- nica Eyeife Black & Tears. A sus 48 años y con gran reconocimiento en el mundo del dijing, Spooky –como se le conoce en la pista- decidió venir por primera vez a la Isla; sin embargo parece nunca haber estado muy lejos de aquí.

“Hay una larga y loca historia entre Estados Unidos y Cuba. Mis dos padres eran profesores, mi padre había sido abogado y los dos estaban relacionados con los temas políticos. Desde niño estuve muy consciente de la situación en la Isla. Cuba siempre ha estado en mi mente” Spooky tiene una larga carrera en el arte, que va desde la música hasta la literatura. Es graduado de Filosofía y Literatura Francesa del Bowdoin College y es fundador del colectivo Soundlab, del que formó parte con un variado grupo de artistas.
